General Intelligence Systems LLC ("Genintelsys," "we," "us") builds AI-native software that runs in your browser, on your machine, or on managed cloud infrastructure that we operate. We collect as little user data as possible, and we never sell it.
This policy describes what we collect, why, and what your rights are. If anything here is unclear, email hello@genintelsys.com and we will answer.
1. Scope
This policy covers:
- The genintelsys.com website, including all subpaths and subdomains.
- The Cloak Humanizer Chrome extension published by Genintelsys on the Chrome Web Store.
- Future Genintelsys products as they launch (Cloak free SaaS humanizer, Cloak Content writing service, GEO Optimizer). Sections below will be added with effective dates as each product comes online.
If you interact with us only through email, only the contents of that email and your reply address are in scope.
2. What we collect, by surface
2.1 The genintelsys.com website
The website is a single static page served from Cloudflare Pages. We do not run third-party analytics, marketing pixels, or session-replay tools.
What is collected automatically by Cloudflare when you visit any website served by them:
- Your IP address (used to route the response and to apply DDoS protection)
- Your User-Agent string (used to serve the correct page variant and to detect abuse)
- A short-lived security cookie set by Cloudflare to mitigate bots
We do not have access to logs of who visited which page on the site. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described in their own privacy policy.
If you click the contact email link on the site, your email client opens a draft message addressed to us. We receive that message only if you choose to send it.
2.2 The Cloak Humanizer Chrome extension
The extension is a local-only tool. It performs all scoring and rewriting in your browser using JavaScript bundled in the extension package. It does not call any remote server.
What the extension stores:
- Your category toggles (whether each of the four banned-vocab categories is enabled), stored in
chrome.storage.local. Local to your browser profile. Never sent anywhere. - A daily usage counter (the local-day date and the number of humanizations you have run today), stored in
chrome.storage.local. Used only to enforce the daily free-tier cap. Never sent anywhere. - A single short-lived hand-off entry when you use the right-click menu, holding the selected text just long enough for the popup to pick it up. Deleted within 60 seconds. Never sent anywhere.
What the extension does NOT collect:
- We do not collect, see, or log the text you paste or right-click on.
- We do not collect, see, or log the humanized output.
- We do not use
chrome.storage.sync— settings stay on the device. - We do not use analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or any other phone-home mechanism.
- We do not request host permissions. The extension cannot read the contents of any web page you visit; it can only read text you explicitly select and right-click on, via the standard
contextMenusAPI.
This is true today and will remain true for any future version that does not require remote processing. Should a future version (for example a "Pro" tier with cloud humanization) require sending text to our server, that capability will be off by default, gated behind explicit opt-in, and described in an updated section of this policy before it ships.
2.3 Email contact
If you email hello@genintelsys.com, we receive the contents of your message and your reply address. We use them to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not enroll you in marketing on the basis of a support email.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or personalization. Cloudflare may set a security cookie as described in section 2.1; that cookie is operational and is not used to identify or track you across sites.
The Cloak Humanizer Chrome extension does not use cookies. The extension's storage is scoped to the extension itself and is not accessible to any website.
4. Third parties
We do not share user data with third parties for marketing, advertising, or model-training purposes.
The third parties that touch infrastructure-level information in the normal course of serving the site or the extension are:
- Cloudflare — serves the website, applies DDoS protection. See section 2.1.
- Google Chrome Web Store — distributes the Cloak Humanizer extension. Google's privacy practices for the Web Store are governed by Google's own policies.
When additional products launch that involve more third parties (Stripe for billing on Cloak Content, model providers like Anthropic and OpenAI for the writing service, etc.), this section will be updated before those products are made available.
5. Data retention
- Website: Cloudflare retains operational logs for a short period per their published retention policy. We do not retain any independent log of website visits.
- Chrome extension: All extension data is stored on your device. We never receive a copy. Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.
- Email: Support and inquiry emails are retained in our mailbox indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them, in which case we will.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA, or similar. These rights typically include the right to access the personal information we hold about you, the right to have it corrected or deleted, and the right to object to certain processing.
Because we collect so little, most of these requests resolve quickly:
- If you want a copy of any email you have sent us, we will send it to you.
- If you want us to delete a thread, we will.
- For everything else, email hello@genintelsys.com with your request and we will respond within 14 days.
7. Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email hello@genintelsys.com and we will delete it.
8. International users
General Intelligence Systems LLC is based in the United States. If you use our products from outside the United States, your data is processed in the United States. By using the products you consent to that processing.
The Chrome extension is local-only and does not transmit your data anywhere, so this section is largely academic for that product.
9. Security
We follow industry-standard practices to protect what little data we do hold:
- The website is served only over HTTPS.
- Extension storage is scoped to the extension by Chrome and cannot be read by web pages.
- Our email accounts use multi-factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe you have found a security issue, please email hello@genintelsys.com with the subject line "Security report" and we will respond within one business day.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when we add new products or change how an existing product handles data. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and on the corresponding product's release notes. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
